George Gilder lives down the road from me, in Great Barrington... his prognozticatin skills are in doubt, I think... I know he lost his life savings on telecom stocks... believed his own ideas and unlike most people given to foreseeing the future, bet on it. and the end of the desktop has been seen for years now. I remember being in a computer trade school, musta been early 80s - and we were told that there would be just 7 or so massive computers in the world... everyone would have a terminal... even then, with the 64KB IBM a new thing, it seemed ludicrous... all best Paul ... keep me posted on travel plans, I love the SW
